Julie Rix has over 30 years of experience in coordinating, planning, and managing all details of all stages for a smooth-running event, from sound and staging needs to hotels and transportation. She also serves as an Artist Liaison, building and maintaining relationships with artists and their management.
Julie is also the CEO of Soundwise, a company that provides sound, production, booking, and talent buying services for large and small events and venues. She has over 32 years of experience in this field, working with nonprofits and special events, and offering consulting and strategic planning. Julie is a music industry professional with a master’s degree in interdisciplinary art and a passion for cultural anthropology, sociology, and international studies. She is a creative thinker, a friendly leader, and a conflict resolution expert.
